Condition: Excellent
Restoration: Because of heavy craquelure painting was removed from stretchers, placed on a heat table and a Mylar lining was adhered to the back with Beva to flatten the surface. It was cleaned with minor touch-up performed on two small areas; one upper center, the other lower right, constituting less than 3% of the total area of the painting; then re-varnished and returned to original stretchers.
Frame: A narrow gilt carved wood frame with scalloped edges and raised scrolling foliate decoration at corners.
