Inscriptions: A cartouche at the bottom center of the painting contains a Latin inscription which is difficult to decipher precisely but appears to roughly translate to the above Title:

Condition: Excellent
Restoration: The panel has been cradled in the 19th or early 20th century in an attempt to reduce warping. The board has warped and cracked through the centuries and has likely been repaired many times across the center left to right. Recent touch-up has been performed in this area and to several other small areas. Total affected area less than 10%.
Frame: A gilt wood frame with carved geometric and stylized foliate ornament; 18th or 19th century.
