Ranulph De Bayoux Bye was a Bucks County, Pennsylvania watercolor painter specializing in views of nature and picturesque architecture. He studied at the Philadelphia Museum School of Industrial Art and the Art Students League in New York. He is considered to be one of America's foremost watercolorists and he exhibited widely at such prestigious venues as the National Academy of Design, the American Watercolor Society, and Allied Artists. He taught at the Moore College of Art in Philadelphia for more than thirty years.
