George Bjorkland

A Winter Sparrow

         New Jersey artist George Bjorkland studied at the Harford Art School, now a part of the University of Hartford in Connecticut, and at the Art Institute of Pennsylvania.  For a while he was a high school teacher in Clarion, Pa but later moved to New Jersey and became a free lance illustrator.  

      Bjorkland has exhibited frequently in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York City, New England and even Canada.  Although he also works in oil we feel his best works are his watercolors.
