Soltesz illustrated many ads for TWA and numerous other large companies. His work appeared in the Saturday Evening Post, Forbes, Life, Colliers, Esquire, and Time Magazine, just to name a few. He was one of the masters of the cut away illustrations used to show interiors of buildings, machinery, etc. He also did book covers and greeting cards. He was one of the most respected and prolific commercial artists of the mid-twentieth century.
