Charles Kaufmann

Mangrove II

       This work from 1987 was created when Kaufmann was in his mid-twenties and living in Key West, Florida.  He has since divided his time working in Pennsylvania, Florida, and Africa.  Having studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia, most of his professional career has centered in that city.  He has shown at a number of galleries there and his newer work is currently offered by the Gross McCleaf Gallery www.grossmccleaf.com.
