Arthur Tomson 

An Uninvited Guest


Cats were Tomson’s favorite subject and he even illustrated a book of poems “Concerning Cats” in 1892.  He exhibited at the major galleries in London from 1883 and was an art critic for the Morning Leader.  In 1903 he published “J. F. Millet and the Barbizon School.”  He also wrote the novel “Many Waters”.
